The New Bedford Ocean Explorium
It is the mission of the Ocean Explorium to establish New Bedford as a center for ocean science public education, with an emphasis on environmental stewardship and science literacy.
The Ocean Explorium is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ocean science education. The Exploriumís education programs, outreach initiatives and public exhibits promote a broader and deeper understanding of the oceanís influence on humans and our impact on the ocean and its resources.

Ocean Voice Speaker Series
Local school and community groups with more than 20 individuals are eligible to receive group rates for a visit to the Ocean Explorium. The group visit must be pre-booked and reserved; contact aspargo@oceanexplorium for booking details. Group rates are not available at the door for groups that have not pre-booked.
Members Have Unlimited Entry
Consider becoming a member. Members receive unlimited admission to the Ocean Explorium and exclusive benefits. You will also be supporting public education, encouraging stewardship of the oceans and improving science literacy throughout the region. Help us help everyone to be better stewards of the blue planetís very essence.
